DDA Legal Requirements Training
Meeting your duties under the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) can save you time and money and even make you money.
Aim
The 'uninformed' can intentionally or unintentionally discriminate against a disabled person through their employment practices or service provision. By undertaking this DDA training, businesses can acquire an understanding of this piece of legislation thereby enabling the development and implementation of new strategies to avoid such discrimination.

Any. The course benefits every organisation in improving knowledge of this important and essential legislation.

- An overview of the DDA;
- Who is classified as 'disabled' under the Act; Employers obligations under the Act;
- Service Providers obligations under the Act;
- Guide to 'reasonable adjustments';

Format
A one day workshop for a maximum of 16 participants.
Certificates
A certificate of course completion will be issued for use.
Alternative Arrangements
A half day programme, luncheon format or 3 hour workshop can be provided. Course elements would be shortened accordingly.
